ABOUT GABRIEL 

My name is Walther Gabriel Barquero Segura, also known as Gabriel Barse. I discovered my passion for makeup at a young age while watching my mother play with colors. However, I had to wait until I turned 26 to pursue what I love the most.

In 2017, I had the opportunity to visit New York for the first time, and during my stay, I enrolled in the Makeup Forever Academy. Returning to Peru, I embarked on a four-year journey with MAC Cosmetics. This experience not only deepened my knowledge but also validated my abilities, paving the way for me to become a successful makeup artist.

Determined to chase my dreams, I made the life-changing decision to move to New York City after the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, I have had the privilege of collaborating with talented photographers on Instagram who were impressed by my portfolio. My career has been on an upward trajectory, and I am grateful for the incredible opportunities that have come my way since the pandemic.

Since moving to NYC, I have had the honor of working with a diverse range of clients, including notable individuals such as Anna Delvey, Candace Marie, Coco Rocha to name a few. Additionally, I've had the chance to showcase my skills at events like Macy's Live, various fashion weeks for Vogue, and shows sponsored by MAC Cosmetics and Edma. I've also been privileged to work with Coco Rocha Model Camp, among others
